I’m a tax partner focused on supporting groups and their shareholders in the run up to, through and beyond a value event for shareholders.
My clients are typically on a three-to-five year journey to an exit event and it is really important for the exit readiness process to begin as soon as possible. Working closely with colleagues across our advisory business, I help businesses and their owners prepare themselves for a deal process, ensuring the smoothest transaction as possible, maximising equity value and minimising the risk of price chips or tax show stoppers.
My experience spans the full range of traditional and non-traditional exits, from trade deals through to private equity backed management buy outs and IPOs, as well as implementing Employee Ownership Trusts. By working on live deals as well as helping ‘incubate’ groups in the run up to transactions, I ensure my clients are advised on up-to-date deal matters, as well as changes in tax legislation and opportunities to achieve cash savings.
When I’m not in the office I’ll probably be out on my bike cycling, having co-founded and currently running the Crawley Business Bike Club for employees of local businesses.
