Chris Laverty Partner London +44 (0)20 7865 2302

I am a senior restructuring practitioner working with both public and private boards, lenders/funders to advise and implement financial restructurings. I lead the financial services restructuring and insolvency team, working both as an advisor and as an insolvency practitioner across restructuring opportunities in a number of different sectors including financial services, retail, telecoms, real estate and healthcare.

I am a tenacious, commercial problem solver. I adapt to work either directly with corporates or on behalf of creditors. I have had years of experience in leading some of the most complex and high profile restructuring and insolvencies in the UK market. During my career, I have been sector agnostic but in recent years, I have gained significant experience working in both the financial and retail sectors.

High profile clients include Wonga, Cattles, IBRC, Monarch and Peacocks.  All have been challenging due to the complexity of the operations, impact on creditors and the involvement with the public or relevant regulators. Each of these assignments have delivered significant value to creditors and great learning for the team.

Whilst not at work, I am passionate about sports, cooking and more importantly spending time with my children.
