Leeds
Director, Head of Public Sector Financial Reporting and Accounting Support Services
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked across the public sector in a variety of audit, assurance and advisory roles predominately in health, and local and central government. My experience ranges from external audit to complex accounting advice and financial reporting, and from finance function effectiveness to managing bespoke and large-scale finance-related engagements. I've worked with some of the largest public sector bodies in the UK and also directly supported finance functions while on secondment, which has provided invaluable insight into the challenges organisations face.
I’m passionate about excellent client service, finding pragmatic solutions and supporting organisations to prepare for their future. The work I lead provides accounting support, financial reporting and wider finance function support. These are all important in allowing organisations to have the right timely information to make informed decisions and to break down the increased complexity.
Outside of work I’m an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Yorkshire and Humber Committee. I'm also a motorsport fan and keen runner, and enjoy spending time with my family, friends and two amazing children.
