O’Donovan Waste Disposal Limited is an award winning, independent, family-run company with the aim of leading the way in safe, green, and efficient waste operations in the construction industry.

Nordic based Sortera AB is a leader within the collection, recycling, processing and sale of residual products of construction waste. Sortera provides solutions that contribute to increased sustainability and improved environmental performance in all areas.

We advised Jacqui O’Donovan, the sole shareholder of O’Donovan Waste Disposal on the initiation, preparation and execution of the transaction.

Our involvement covered all components of the M&A process, including the identification of prospective key strategic buyers, deal negotiations, management of the due diligence process and support during the legal drafting and completion processes.

Through driving a process with a high degree of competitive tension we were able to ensure that Jacqui’s objectives could be met in delivering a high quality transaction with a strategic buyer in Sortera.
