Through my role on our I guide our large corporate and government advisory services to develop propositions and solutions. I'm also head of our international team, working with clients to build their international operations – in collaboration with other firms in the Grant Thornton network.
I engage with business leaders to deliver our strategy across our large corporate and government market-facing groups. This role also involves coaching, mentoring, line management, role-modelling our values and behaviours, and empowering agility across the UK and international firms.
Outside of work, I enjoy a range of sports and outdoor activities, including cycling, golf, paddle boarding, and hill walking. Most of these I do with my trusted dog Jess, but she struggles a bit with the cycling! I have two sons both in their twenties: one runs a care home for young autistic adults and the other is completing a PhD in genetics. My wife has Huntington’s disease, and so I help the Scottish Huntington’s Association with fundraising.
