I help FDs and CFOs deliver their tactical projects by placing high quality accountants from our 230-strong team in to their finance functions.
Having started my career in statutory audit at a Big 4 firm, I then undertook a number of roles in industry in the UK and mainland Europe. Most often I work in teams and organisations undergoing significant change, for example, at Lloyds Banking Group plc during the merger with HBOS, and at Virgin Money plc during their IPO preparation.
Since 2019 I've been a senior member of our 230-strong financial placements team, working with finance directors and chief financial officers who require high-quality accountants on a interim basis. My 15-year career in industry helps me to understand their challenges, and I listen deeply and work hard to understand their aims and needs. This information allows me to assemble small or large teams to work alongside a client's existing finance team to deliver a tactical goal.
I'm a stepfather to two stepdaughters, and my favourite time of the week is watching the younger one play football and then debriefing and chatting with her in the car afterwards. Outside of home life, I enjoy my role as a mentor with the Social Mobility Foundation, helping propel brilliant young people into university and professional life.
