I have been advising dynamic businesses and their owners for over 20 years and am head of tax for the north. I work with a wide range of businesses across a variety of sectors providing quality tax advice at the investor, corporate and individual level.
My clients include international privately owned businesses, listed companies and smaller, entrepreneurial enterprises who I advise from start up through to ultimate exit. In particular, I have extensive experience in working with entrepreneurial, private and family owned businesses including private equity backed businesses.
In addition to having overall responsibility for effective, value adding tax compliance services on my accounts I predominantly lead on complex transactions involving corporate acquisitions and disposals, management buy outs, group reorganisations, debt restructures and tax efficient cash extraction.
My approach is fundamental to providing genuine, commercially relevant advice to my clients. I invest time to understand my clients, their individual plans and business goals and how we can best work together to achieve them. I am passionate about shaping a vibrant economy and with increasing tax complexity and scrutiny being able to proactively support businesses as they look to grow in this challenging environment is hugely rewarding.
