I have worked in personal insolvency for 17 years specialising in IVAs and bankruptcy, including 12 months with the bankruptcy team in Melbourne, Australia. Previous experience includes four years in corporate insolvency where I traded a variety of businesses and carried out business reviews. I also have six years’ experience in consultancy and insolvency work in the London insurance and reinsurance market. Many of the projects I have undertaken have required me to quickly understand the processes in place and work with people in, often, hostile conditions.
I combine my extensive experience and technical knowledge with empathy and understanding for both creditors and debtors in order to find the best solutions to maximise returns for creditors.
I have experience in bankruptcy law in England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Australia and I am currently a member of the R3 Personal Insolvency Committee.
Outside of work and family I enjoy karate and playing flute in the local festival band.
