I provide strategic advice to owners and managers who want to make a difference to their business. By facilitating and introducing new connections I am able to help people achieve their ambitions. I've also got an inquisitive mind that likes to find simple, pragmatic solutions to complex business problems.
My work is with medium-sized and listed businesses, and those that aspire to grow to that size. By supporting and challenging owners and management teams, I've helped start-ups through acquisitions, obtaining debt finance and raising funds on the equity markets, and the associated financial reporting implications. I've also worked with some long-established family businesses through succession issues and sale.
I head up our financial reporting advisory team in Milton Keynes, which provides bespoke financial reporting advice to clients that are finding the complexities of financial reporting standards difficult to resource themselves. This team has advised clients on conversion to IFRS and US GAAP and vice versa; supported clients through IPOs, acquisitions and sales; providing secondees to cover absence; and outsourced entire accounting and financial reporting functions.
I am a board member of the Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce where I am helping the Milton Keynes business community to thrive. I'm also a coach inside and outside of Grant Thornton where I help individuals overcome personal challenges.
I am a husband and father of three young children who keep me really busy running around after them.
