We are delighted to have advised Unicorn Training Group on their sale to Access UK.

Established more than 30 years ago, Unicorn Training Group Limited (Unicorn) is a leading provider of integrated eLearning solutions, delivering governance, risk and compliance training within highly-regulated industries.

The business is Access UK’s thirty-first acquisition, and provides the buyer with a platform into digital learning across their key vertical sectors whilst strengthening their position in the financial services space.

Following multiple approaches from prospective buyers, Unicorn appointed us early to expertly manage the sale of the business based on our extensive skills and training sector experience, working closely with the shareholders to assess the strategic options available and tailor the right approach and solution.

We provided lead advisory services as well as vendor IT due diligence, financial modelling and SPA advisory services for the transaction. We executed a streamlined process, including a full sale preparation phase, which ultimately culminated in a highly competitive process and considerable value realisation for the diverse shareholder group. This enabled completion of the transaction within a short four-week exclusivity period.

This is also an exciting growth opportunity for the management team, who will be staying with the business to continue their growth and expansion plans during a particularly exciting time for the eLearning industry.
