JCW Group is a leading UK mechanical and electrical engineering contracts provider, supplying a wide range of multi-site retail, leisure and public sector contracts across country.
Apleona is a large German based group providing related facilities management services who were seeking to strengthen its UK market position.
Apleona was also attracted to JCW due to its large scale mobile servicing capability, and the potential to increase quality services and excellence with its client base.
Grant Thornton Corporate Finance were engaged to assist with the negotiations with Apleona and to agree a deal which was acceptable to all parties, before project managing the process through to completion. Key to our role was getting the right balance between future value creation for both sides, as well as the ensuring the right level of protection for the shareholders.
