Fudco is a second-generation family partnership established in 1979. It is one of the leading UK distributors of quality, natural ethnic foods, ingredients, dried fruits and nuts.
The partners made the collective decision to undertake a retirement sale to Vibrant Foods in January 2021 and contacted us to engage the corporate finance team to guide them through the transaction process.
Our corporate finance team worked closely with the partners, the other sell side advisors and all buy side parties to project manage the transaction through due diligence to completion.
This included leading negotiations on the partnership asset sale and advising on carving out the non-food business, which was not included in the transaction.
