St Matthews Limited was founded in 2003 by NHS nurse Sean Sidhu Brar and family. The business delivers a range of specialist care services to patients with high acuity care needs. 

Today, the Group spans 10 sites across the Midlands and South of England, offering acute hospital care for patients in secure settings and step-down care to longer term specialist settings and nursing care. Supporting patients with mental health illnesses are a core focus for the Group.

CGEN Care Group are the UK platform of US family office TL Management. This transaction extends CGEN’s UK care portfolio, which includes their acquisition of Stow Healthcare in 2025.
