Sopra Steria Recruitment (SSR), part of Sopra Steria Limited (SSL), is a leading provider of managed recruitment services to a broad range of sectors, and has been established for over 40 years. SSL’s strategic priorities have shifted focus and therefore a strategic partner was sought that would continues to support the leadership role of SSR in its chosen markets.
The acquirer RSG plc, have grown from a single recruitment company based in Bristol into a multi-million pound, UK wide network of expert recruitment businesses. The firm therefore provides SSR with the opportunity to further scale up its digital and consulting offering, strengthening its foothold in the private sector.
We were appointed by SSL to expertly manage the carve-out and sale of the business based on our extensive recruitment sector and complex carve-out experience. Our team worked closely with the shareholders to assess the strategic options available and tailored the right approach and solution.
We executed a streamlined process, including a full sale preparation and separation phase. This ultimately culminated in the identification of a strong strategic partner for the business in RSG plc, that now provides a breadth of additional recruitment solutions to SSR’s customer base.
