Godiva is one of the UK’s leading independent maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) distributors specialising in the supply of industrial MRO spare parts to both the bearings distribution trade (wholesale / B2B) and high-performance motorsport.

Following a previous MBO the shareholders had reached the right stage to explore a new transaction event providing the opportunity for some shareholders to step away from the business whilst allowing continuing shareholders to drive the business forward with a new strategic investor.

We ran a bespoke and structured sale process aligned with the strategic objectives of all shareholders, which resulted in significant interest from a variety of buyers.

Stockholm headquartered Röko AB was chosen as the preferred bidder due to the alignment with the ongoing managing director, Tom Hamlett, whilst providing a solution for the outgoing shareholders.

We leveraged their expertise within the industrial products and knowledge of the financial investor landscape to deliver a bespoke solution aligned with the objectives of all shareholders.

This resulted in a strong outcome for all parties and secured a strategic partner for Godiva to drive the business forward under new ownership.
