I am a Restructuring Partner and licensed insolvency practitioner with over 19 years’ experience and have been appointed as either administrator, liquidator or receiver over various different companies and assets.
I am based in the UK and have worked with clients on restructuring and insolvency projects involving a variety of jurisdictions worldwide, including: Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China, Poland, South Africa, India, the United States of America, Switzerland, Singapore, Belize, British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Russia, Bahrain, Ukraine, Portugal, Greece, France, Mauritius, Madagascar and Cyprus.
Most recently my work has involved a significant amount of expert roles in relation to Restructuring Plans, including giving oral testimony in the McDermott International and Madagascar Oil cases.
Notable experience includes:
- Expert in the McDermott International, Ambatovy, River Island and Madascar Oil restructuring plans
- Financial analysis to support a restructuring transaction for a large European retailer
- Financial advisor to the RCF lenders of a UK auto-finance lender
- Joint administrator of Wonga Group Limited and associated companies
- Joint administrator of Caversham Trading (part of the Brighthouse Group)
Outside of work, I love spending as much time as possible with my wife and two daughters and juggle that with getting out on my bike when I can. And come winter, I am passionate about getting out to the mountains to get some skiing in.
