Grant Thornton advises Forensic Analytics Limited

Forensic Analytics is the leading forensic intelligence software platform to UK police and law enforcement agencies. We were engaged to support them with a growth capital fundraise, as the business was looking for an investment partner to support and accelerate the exciting domestic and international growth plan. 

Aided by our extensive experience in the sector, we proposed a focussed shortlist of venture capital trusts and private equity houses who we knew would be interested in the trajectory of the Company and the opportunity that lies ahead. Through extensive preparation with management, we were able to deliver a hands-on approach to managing conversations and preparing a marketing document. 

After receiving a range of offers, we were able to work with management to select a shortlist of interested parties to do further diligence and spend more time with the founders.  

Mercia Asset Management presented a strong position to the team and importantly, built a good relationship with management. From there, we were able to run a tight diligence process to which everyone was aligned in one direction.
