Altium Limited ("Altium"), a leading printed circuit board (PCB) software designer, listed on the Australian stock market have acquired Premier EDA Solutions Limited ("Premier"). As part of a strategic change, Altium have refined their go-to-market strategy to now include direct sales.
Founded in 1994 by Phil Mayo, Premier are based in Ware, Hertfordshire. The Company are a specialist reseller of Altium software and are the leading distributor in the UK and Ireland.
With an established customer base and specific market knowledge, Premier has been acquired by Altium to implement their new strategy by selling directly to consumers and contribute to meeting Altium's ambitious growth targets.
