Grant Thornton advises LDC

i247 Group (“i247”), based in Poole, was founded by the Mason family and is a leading provider of technology-led fleet management solutions serving large blue-chip customers within the automotive space.

Following a period of strong growth, the shareholders of i247 wanted to partner with a private equity investor who could accelerate their growth plans building on their exceptional market reputation.

LDC secured exclusivity due to the strong relationship they had built with the continuing management team, led by Sam Mason, and the support they would bring the Company. 

We advised LDC throughout the transaction by providing integrated buyside support including the preparation of the Business Plan, financial modelling, exit paper and project management of all activities, including due diligence. 

As part of our role, we had to not only support LDC but also support the management team of i247 through the requisite due diligence on the company.

The Grant Thornton team provided senior-led, hands-on deal support at all times and worked closely with LDC to deliver a successful outcome.
