Do your priorities align with your reference points and the current business strategy? We'll help you step back from firefighting and getting caught in the details to prioritise areas that lead to your goals.

We'll also help you organise these priorities into manageable themes for confident delivery.

Step 3

Gain talent and stakeholder support 

From star performers to potential barriers, we'll challenge you to evaluate your team and stakeholders, identifying gaps and assessing their impact on your own effectiveness.

We'll help you to identify actions you can take to leverage strengths further or address gaps to help your finance function progress.

Step 4

Build your initiatives and a 180-day plan 

Based on our discussions, we'll help you to develop a thorough action plan that takes into account constraints and key events you’ve shared and is aligned with your most important challenges and opportunities.

This is your 6-month roadmap -and we will follow up with you regularly after the Leaders Room to check in on your progress.

    Simon leads the finance consulting team in our Business Consulting practice, and is ACA qualified with over 18 years of advisory experience.

    He works with leaders and teams to deliver finance functions that can support the needs of the wider business. That can include relatively tactical fixes - like management information improvement, process automation, and accelerating month end - or fuller transformation programmes. He also supports many clients on their readiness for Exit or IPO.

    As a Director in our CFO Solutions team, Sam leads finance placements that support finance leaders and their teams through periods of significant challenge and change.

    With 15 years' experience, he has worked across large corporates and dynamic mid-market and private equity-backed businesses. His projects range from remediation and audit support to business separations, deal completions, and shareholder exits, with particular involvement in manufacturing and automotive engagements.

    Rahala has experience across a range of sectors, with a particular specialism in retail and healthcare. Clients past and present include those that are private equity-backed, listed, and privately owned.

    As an Associate Director in the finance consulting team, she supports senior finance leaders to become more effective in their role and to develop finance functions that enable their businesses to grow.

    Lucy has a breadth of experience in financial control and finance transformation roles across a number of multi-national FTSE businesses, with hands-on experience of change that she is now using in the finance consulting team to support CFOs in optimising their finance function's performance and setting the vision for finance within the wider organisation.
