I lead audit engagements across a range of sectors, working with clients that are Public Interest Entities, Privately owned and backed by Private Equity. I have been with Grant Thornton for 8 years and I am based in the North West, although some of my clients are both national and international. I am an expert in both UK GAAP and IFRS, and work with both stand alone businesses and large groups.
My current portfolio includes clients in sectors such as retail, technology, business services, healthcare, manufacturing and professional services.
My approach is to be very much hands on, working with my clients to achieve their objectives and timetable alongside delivery of high quality audits, in terms of both quality of opinion and client service. I work closely with my teams to bring both value to my clients and also to encourage individual development.
As well as my client roles, I also sit on the firm’s Inclusion Advisory Board, where I work with the Strategic Leadership Team to deliver on one of our key priorities around Diversity and Inclusion. Encouraging all people to be the best they can be with equal opportunities is very important to me.
Outside of work I enjoy a range of exercise activities to stay fit and socialising with friends and family.
