ArticleWithout structured controls, AI risks accumulate quietly. Alex Hunt outlines how to build strong AI governance, oversight and monitoring.

London, Sheffield
Head of Data Analytics and Automation, Business Risk Services
I lead a team of data specialists to provide insights and solutions to FTSE 350 and equivalent groups. I have over 17 years’ experience supporting clients in enhancing their use of data analytics to generate insights about their risks and control environment.
I work closely with my team to deliver high-quality services that help support chief data officers (CDOs), data leaders and audit or risk functions to make informed decisions and mitigate risks. I'm responsible for delivering services across the whole data life cycle, from data analytics, automation and artificial intelligence (AI), through to data strategy, data governance and data privacy.
Outside of work I enjoy anything with two wheels, and spending time with my family and friends.
