Following a decision to retire from the business after more than 40 years, George Douglas, founder and principal shareholder, approached us to help him sell the company.
We ran a full sales process, including an international buyer search which generated a high level of interest.
Ryds Bilglas AB, the leading operator in the Nordic region, was identified as the best strategic purchaser. Their values and culture also aligned with those at Mobile Windscreens.
The sale allows George Douglas to fully exit the business and for the highly regarded existing management team, who will retain an equity stake, to drive the business forward in the next stage of its growth.
