I lead our financial services tax team, including due diligence, and our tax offering on alternative investments. Based in London, I've got 18 years of experience in tax, including the UK and international tax implications of fund structuring and transactions.
I focus on asset management; advising clients across a broad range of classes: hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, debt, and real estate. I lead a team of experts that provide advice and services to the sector, including manager/GP-related matters, carried interest, fund structuring, asset-related services, and ongoing compliance services.
In my due diligence role, I lead a team that applies tax and sector expertise to quantify and clearly articulate identified issues.
Recent projects include listing an evergreen fund vehicle; syndication of balance sheet investments; implementation of pan-European carry arrangements; establishment of a pan-European credit fund; and the establishment of a Luxembourg private equity fund.
Outside of work I spend most of my time keeping my two young children busy.
