I started my career working with charities and other not for profit entities and chose to specialise in the not for profit sector once qualified. I have over 20 years’ experience working in the sector, having enjoyed working with a broad range of organisations ranging from charities to education bodies (independent schools, academies, further education and higher education).

I have also led a number of engagements under a framework partnership between us and the National Audit Office, which includes several national museums. I am therefore very well equipped to advise and support a range of not for profit organisations over a variety of areas, including financial reporting, strategy and governance.

Working with organisations of varying sizes means I have good insight into what is important and what can be challenging to a large range of entities. I therefore tailor the support I can provide to best fit your needs. My current focus is on the charity and education sectors. This means that I largely work with academies, independent schools and higher education institutions each of which both have similarities and their own unique sub-sector challenges.

I speak at external sector events on topics such as financial reporting developments, and also contribute to some of the insight pieces produced both for our UK clients and also our international network firms.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling whenever we can and doing landscape and wildlife photography (if there is any time left to allow it!).
