I’m a CFO Solutions Partner with more than 27 years’ experience across the UK, US, Canada, South Africa and India. I specialise in advising clients on complex carve-outs and on mergers and acquisitions, and I help finance leaders work through difficult accounting questions under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (UK GAAP). Day to day, I lead cross-functional teams to tight deadlines, work alongside chief financial officers and their teams, and talk through complex judgements with Audit Committees and external auditors.
What drives me is turning difficult accounting into clear, practical decisions, then making the process behind them work better. I’m passionate about finance transformation and about using technology and automation to cut error risk and free teams up for higher-value work. I combine technical depth with practical judgement, helping clients tackle complex accounting issues with clarity and confidence.
My sector experience covers technology, private equity, telecom, media, consumer products, retail, fast-moving consumer goods, sports management and manufacturing.
I’ve led some of the largest and most complex carve-outs across the retail, FMCG and oil & gas sectors, helping businesses navigate critical separation and transformation programmes. I’ve also overseen preparation of group financial statements and the annual report for a large multinational and advised commercial teams on major IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 contract structures.
Outside work, I enjoy travelling off the beaten track, discovering great local food, and, more recently, trying to improve my golf game.
