I lead the Grant Thornton UK LLP Public Services Consulting team with over 25 years of experience advising public sector organisations and government departments on service transformation, major programme delivery, economic development, and major regeneration transactions.
In 2014 I launched Grant Thornton’s Place Analytics service, which now operates a growing portfolio of analytics platforms and services that underpin the firm’s public service consulting proposition and are accessed by over 1,000 public service professionals. This includes the market-leading Financial Foresight and CFO Insights platforms designed to support sustainable financial strategy development in the public sector.
My team have developed extensive research and been a leading commentator on the financial challenges facing the local government supporting pieces for national broadcast and print media over the last 5 years and engaging in consultations with ministers and senior officials.
