I'm a corporate tax partner specialising in advising groups investing into the UK market and UK-based businesses expanding overseas.

With over 13 years’ experience, I support clients on a wide range of in‑bound and out‑bound corporate tax matters, including complex international structuring and cross‑border expansion, repatriation planning and withholding tax mitigation, tax residency and permanent establishment risk management, corporate tax compliance & Pillar 2 compliance, corporate transactions, tax governance and risk compliance. 

I work with a diverse mix of ownership structures; from publicly listed groups and international private equity to UK owner-managed businesses and public sector organisations. 

My client base is primarily headquartered in the North West of England or the USA, and I particularly enjoy helping organisations grow internationally by identifying issues early and avoiding unintended tax consequences. Having seen many similar fact patterns over the years, I use that experience to help clients confidently navigate expansion, restructuring, and exit events.

Outside of work, I live in Manchester with my wife, son, dog, and koi carp. I enjoy travelling, walking, running, playing golf,  squash and football (I’m a Man City fan!).
