I've spent almost 25 years in public sector audit, and I lead our practice in the North of England. I lead the audits of a number of large, complex organisations across the region, and I have responsibility for the oversight of the regional team and its work in the health and local government sectors.
The organisations we audit touch everyone's lives. They provide vital services, often to the most vulnerable people, and I'm proud to support them through our work.
My work goes beyond the financial statements. I also assess value for money arrangements, looking at how organisations plan their finances, manage risk and govern themselves. That gives me a rounded understanding of the challenges each one faces.
For several years I've led our digital developments in public sector audit. I enjoy taking an idea for a more efficient way of working and turning it into something our people use every day. I'm excited to be helping roll out GT Augment, which brings AI to support our people.
Outside work, I'm a taxi service for my two children, a gardener, a beekeeper and trustee of a charity.
