I work in the firm's financial services restructuring and insolvency team, with just over ten years of experience on formal insolvency appointments and contingency planning.
I've worked with numerous organisations across multiple sectors, focussing on providing practical advice and assistance to clients in distressed situations, to maximise returns for creditors.
Some highlights include assistance on the carve-out and disposal of certain assets and liabilities of Cyprus Co-operative Bank, wind down planning assistance for an E-money platform company, and an independent business review for an armoured vehicle company.
My experience covers working with clients in offshore jurisdictions, including complex companies based in the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands, for example the liquidation of Saad Investments Company Limited and a liquidation of an Asian derivatives business.
My recent work has centred on the trading administrations of high-cost short term companies, particularly the redress workstreams. I was part of the team responsible for the administration of the Wonga Group – where the redress workstream involved c.450,000 creditors, and contingency planning and administration of CashEuroNet UK, LLC (trading as QuickQuid, Pounds 2 Pocket and OnStride Financial).
Outside of work, I am a keen runner and have partaken in a number of marathons throughout the UK.
