I sit at the centre of my clients' tax relationship with Grant Thornton, coordinating input from specialists across the firm so clients get the full cross tax picture rather than isolated advice on a single issue.
My approach is practical and tailored to where the business is today, while anticipating where it's headed. I focus on preserving flexibility and avoiding decisions now that become constraints later, whether that's structuring for expansion, managing risk, or preparing for investment or exit.
Alongside this, I am part of the firm’s national treasury tax team, with a specialism in the tax treatment of corporate debt and financing. This covers financing and refinancing, growth capital rounds, restructuring both ahead of and following a transaction, and building intragroup funding that is both robust and tax efficient, simplifying it where it has become more complex than the business needs.
I combine technical depth with a commercial, problem solving approach, working with clients to reach solutions that hold up under scrutiny and support what the business is working to achieve.
