I’m an associate director in CFO Solutions, working with finance leaders across the UK through our Finance Placements team. I’ve spent more than 20 years in recruitment, including five at Grant Thornton helping finance functions through periods of challenge and change. My experience covers large corporates, dynamic mid-market businesses and private equity-backed companies. I enjoy understanding what’s really behind a client’s need, then finding a practical solution. The relationships I build along the way matter just as much to me and I really enjoy taking the time to get to know clients in order to build trust and credibility.
I work with chief financial officers, finance directors and heads of finance who need experienced people for a defined piece of work. That might be a demanding year-end or external audit, statutory accounts, a finance system implementation, an integration or just a very stretched finance team. I am solutions focused by nature: bring me a problem and I’ll come back with a plan. I’m also a strong relationship builder, and I take the time to understand how a business works and what a good outcome looks like before I propose anyone. My background in finance recruitment helps me find the right person first time.
Outside work, When I am not running around after my two boys, you’ll usually find me playing netball, running or in the gym - I love competing in Hyrox events! When I am not doing sport give me a good book to relax with and I’m happy.
