I am a partner in our Private Capital audit practice primarily focused on the Thames Valley and Southampton. I have 15 years experience working with complex international organisations across a truly diverse range of industries from retail to pharmaceuticals to manufacturing. I am endlessly interested in manufacturing processes and my best days are spent in factories - understanding what my clients do, what makes them unique, and why they are successful. I have spent a lot of time working with the UK and Global Aerospace and Defence industries and have a deep understanding of the complexities of the industry and its’ commercial relationships.
I am ACA qualified and a specialist in financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102) and US GAAP. I have previously spent time working as director of financial reporting in industry and bring that experience to my ways of working, and engaging with my clients.
Outside of work I enjoy travelling the world; Iceland is a favourite because of the uniqueness of the landscape and the freedom of driving the quiet roads. Closer to home my wife and I spend a lot of time in the garden and nearby wildlife reserves.
