I joined the firm in 2006, training within the audit practice, and in my time have worked with a huge variety of clients from small owner-managed businesses up to large multinational organisations. Having progressed through the ranks, I am now responsible for leading audit quality for the firm in Scotland as well as working with lots of exciting businesses.
I lead our real estate team in Scotland alongside two other directors, and have significant experience in the sector having worked with clients both on the investment and development side. The diversity of my client base, which includes companies in the service, engineering, airline, and technology sectors, gives me an excellent view of the business landscape and an ability to share insights on best practice, enabling businesses to achieve their strategic aims. I also work extensively with international businesses and am able to use that experience when working with my colleagues in international offices to ensure a smooth and joined-up service.
My interest in international work is also reflected in my personal life, and I really enjoy travelling to new places and exploring different cultures. I also continue to play amateur football which allows me to show my competitive side – I don’t plan to hang up the boots for a few years yet!
