I help corporate and private equity management teams get more value from their deals. In 14 years, I’ve worked in corporate development, M&A advisory and audit. I’ve advised on acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and large cross-border transactions, on both the buy side and the sell side. I’m a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. I joined Grant Thornton in 2026 from KPMG.
I work with clients before and after a deal. Before a deal, I assess the value on offer, including synergies. I help clients shape their options and I lead diligence to support their bids. After a deal, I help them deliver that value through integration, cost reduction and wider strategic change.
My work turns a deal thesis into delivered numbers. It’s practical and often complex. I work with [name the stakeholders, for example boards, lenders, regulators and operating teams] to get the deal signed, then to execute the plan that maximises its value. I enjoy the energy this takes. I also enjoy supporting management teams and developing the people in my team, so that together we deliver inventive results for clients.
Earlier in my career, I went on long term secondment in Rolls-Royce’s corporate M&A team, working as a Deal Principal. That experience shaped how I advise. I focus on outcomes. I take time to understand the wider picture and the stakeholders a deal has to satisfy. Then I keep my advice sharp, so clients can make informed decisions.
My main sector experience includes: industrials, business services, aerospace, defence, life sciences and mining. I’ve worked on transactions across five continents.
Outside work, I enjoy cooking for friends and family, travelling and keeping active. I have a young son who keeps us busy. One day, I’d like to introduce him to skiing.
