I am a Partner leading Grant Thornton UK's Financial Services Technology Risk team, part of our Business Risk Services practice. Working with financial services firms, I help them understand, assess and manage their technology risk and resilience challenges.
With more than 20 years' experience across industry and practice, I bring a pragmatic approach to every engagement. I have led in-house technology risk functions and technology audit functions. On the practice side, I've led large controls testing and audit programmes, as well as multi-country technology resilience programmes driven by regulatory requirements.
My primary focus is on technology risk and resilience, operational resilience, third-party risk, cybersecurity, and the emerging governance challenges around artificial intelligence. I am passionate about helping firms turn complex, dense regulation, such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), into practical, board-ready action that can make a real difference to their business.
Outside of work, I'm a keen hiker and a trustee at Bletchley Park Trust.
