I work in our public services consulting team, responsible for delivering analysis and research for central and local government. I have more than 10 years’ experience of carrying out socio-economic and development analysis across a range of project areas, including financial performance, health, environment, communities and economic development. I also work on major business support programmes for central and local government, aimed at fostering economic growth and prosperity.
I'm passionate about using data to drive insight and inform strategic decisions that deliver positive outcomes for people and places. Day-to-day this may involve a range of tasks, typically: place-based analysis, data framework formulation, desk-based research and stakeholder consultations, monitoring and evaluation, and economic impact assessment.
I've been fortunate to work on several notable assignments, including delivering a series of evidence-based reports and guidance for the Welsh Local Government Association's Transition and Recovery Programme. I provided analytical support to 101 towns to help them secure Town Deals through the Ministry of Housing and Local Government Towns Fund Programme. And I currently lead on the recruitment and promotion of defence sector SMEs into the Ministry of Defence's valuable Defence Supplier Capability Development Programme, which aims to create a stronger and more competitive defence sector.
When not working, I try to make the most of living in London – exploring art exhibitions, attending shows or enjoying nice meals out with friends. And with a toddler daughter I’m never that far away from a playground or soft play centre.
