I'm a tax partner specialising in providing bespoke advice to owner-managed businesses and large corporate groups, supporting them to achieve their commercial objectives while ensuring they pay the correct tax.

My main areas of focus are transactions tax (including buy-side and vendor due diligence, initial public offerings, and sale and purchase agreement tax advisory), tax structuring for transactions, group reorganisations, demergers or restructuring, and supporting businesses with overseas expansions.

I enjoy speaking regularly with the wide diversity of businesses that operate in the Scottish marketplace and supporting them with their strategic goals.

When I don’t have my head in tax legislation, I like to spend as much time as I can with my family – including rock climbing with my six-year-old son. I regularly play ice hockey, have a strum at the guitar, and sink endless amounts of cash into my vintage VW camper.
