Deals in review: H1 2025
The year so far
Despite macroeconomic uncertainties our deals team has successfully closed 104 transactions valued at £4.7bn, with 45% involving Private Equity.
The first half of 2025 has presented some challenges within the deals market although there have been bright spots across specific sectors, with appetite from investors for attractive assets remaining strong. Macroeconomic uncertainty and geopolitical risk pose the biggest barriers to dealmaking in 2025, with the uncertainty of tariffs having some impact on activity in the first half the year, reflective in deal volumes overall.
We are pleased to share a selection of our transaction highlights here. Please do reach out to the team for further information.
