Lynette is a Director at Grant Thornton, where she leads the general insurance team within the Actuarial & Insurance Consulting practice. As a Chartered Actuary, she brings extensive expertise in reviewing technical liabilities in accordance with IFRS 17 and US/UK GAAP for leading international reinsurance and insurance groups, as well as captives in the US, UK, Bermuda, and Cayman across a variety of business lines.
Her background includes support for Mergers and Acquisitions, Legacy/Reinsurance Deals, internal and external audits, model validation, and IFRS 17 implementations across multiple jurisdictions. Lynette’s experience in risk management covers the full spectrum of the risk framework, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative aspects.
Previously, she contributed to external audit efforts at a prominent consultancy and held roles as Actuarial Function Holder support and Head of the Risk Function for an insurance group
