According to our latest Business Outlook Tracker (June 2023), over two-thirds (69%) of business leaders are optimistic about the outlook of the UK economy. This is a 3% increase compared to the previous round in April. Our bi-monthly survey asks senior decision makers in UK mid-market businesses how optimistic they’re feeling, how they’re planning and preparing for what’s ahead in 2023, and their top concerns.

Censuswide (on behalf of Grant Thornton UK LLP) surveyed 601 senior decision makers in UK mid-market businesses between 6 – 15 June 2023. The UK mid-market is defined as companies with an annual turnover between £50million - £500million.
