I have worked for the firm for over 12 years across multiple sectors with particular experience in the automotive and manufacturing space. I support businesses with their strategic planning, commercial strategy development and product strategy and costing. I support my clients to improve their financial performance, typically improving the visibility of their actual performance through better use of their data, or by helping them to create an executable plan to deliver their strategy, or by supporting them in gaining access to funding. As a mechanical engineering graduate and chartered accountant, I am able to bring both technical expertise and a practical perspective.
I have a passion for problem solving and enjoy working with clients who have complex situations and extensive data sets. This, coupled with an interest in people dynamics, allows me to function effectively as a critical friend, and bring a unique perspective to businesses that are facing challenges with making effective and informed decisions. Often clients engage with me and my team in order to help them develop a practical, commercially savvy business plan amid the complexities of international supply chains, complex product lines, and changing macro-economic conditions.
Recently, I have seen an increase in capital investment (particularly across the automotive and renewables sectors), an increased appetite for businesses to re-baseline and subsequently redefine their future direction, and a growing awareness of the value of structured data and management information. In that market, our work as a team has often focused on helping clients achieve strategic transformation and change, or has focused on business plan due diligence as companies seek to make use of new funding opportunities.
Outside of work, I have a young son who keeps me extremely busy. I love to spend time with my family, travel, read and keep fit. I particularly love skiing in the winter months and soaking up the sunshine outdoors in the summer.
