I work with clients to understand their business, identify complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, and assist management in determining a solution that’s fit for purpose. I enjoy working with other specialists to ensure that accounting is not seen in isolation, but as part of management’s broader goals.
My client base ranges from listed entities to start ups, private equity-backed groups to the public sector. Although I’m based in London, I connect with finance teams across the UK and internationally.
I work on various financial reporting projects, but my focus is on the application of technical accounting requirements in the context of transactions, for example, listings (UK and US), group restructurings, model reviews and business acquisitions. Transactions tend to require a GAAP conversion (IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP and the like) so I have extensive experience in this area too.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my friends and family. I am a cinema and theatre lover, and while I wouldn’t classify myself as sporty, I enjoy supporting the South African teams whenever they’re on the international stage.
