SOC success: Partnering for confidence and compliance
A workforce management solutions provider needed to demonstrate the robustness of its internal controls to satisfy increasing scrutiny from a key customer. We helped them build confidence through tailored assurance and strategic collaboration.
The challenge
The provider was facing growing pressure from a key customer to provide formal assurance that their internal controls were effective and aligned with audit expectations. The customer’s auditors required a system and organisation controls (SOC) report to demonstrate reasonable assurance over the services delivered.
Our client also had a wider ambition beyond compliance: to build trust, showcase operational resilience, and position themselves as a reliable partner in global markets.
How we helped
We guided the organisation through the SOC reporting journey, aligning control objectives with their operational needs. We also conducted a preliminary review to check if they had the necessary controls, documentation, and processes in place to begin formal SOC testing. This 'readiness assessment' helped identify gaps and build a roadmap toward a successful SOC 1 Type 2 report.

Reporting
Beyond the technical delivery, we worked side-by-side with the client to manage stakeholder relationships, including their customer and external auditors. We provided practical advice to improve control maturity and shared insights to prepare their team for future assurance demands.
The results
The client achieved a successful attestation outcome, strengthening credibility and deepening stakeholder trust. Our guidance helped them understand the importance of evidence quality and control design in a compliance-driven environment.
They're also now better equipped to meet future assurance expectations and embed a culture of governance that supports scalable growth. Our collaborative approach laid the groundwork for continuous improvement and strategic alignment with their customers’ evolving needs.
