I am a managing director in our payments, cyber and data team and also run Grant Thornton’s global SWIFT partnership where the firm is an SWIFT cyber security partner.
Over the past two decades, I’ve held multiple assurance and advisory roles helping major companies and stakeholders manage risk in the banking and payments technology space. This has involved banking entities across Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. I was previously at another consulting firm and later led technology audit for a global bank covering payments, corporate, investment and private banking teams and entities. My previous roles also included technology risk and audit for automated high-frequency electronic trading.
I’ve run large banking assurance programmes for multinational institutions as a hands-on change agent, leaning on a strong knowledge of technology, transaction security and risk management. I also advise payment institutions on open banking, PSD2 compliance and technology risk for corporate and retail banking. Some of my previous roles have included deploying national technology, payment and PKI infrastructure. I have been a visiting lecturer for cyber resilience at the Cranfield University Executive MBA programme and provide thought leadership around the future of banking and payments at various forums.
When not at work, I can be found off the beaten path traveling with my family or sharpening my DIY building skills at home.
