Participants will gain practical skills in managing change, leveraging data and AI, and rethinking business processes. With a focus on digital tool and applied Generative AI (GenAI), this course prepares learners to drive measurable improvements while fostering innovation and growth.

Entry requirements

The apprentice must be employed in a relevant job role with agreement from their employer. This includes committing to a minimum of 6 hours off-the-job training a week.

Schedule

Four 10-week modules, with approximately one day of study per week. Start dates in January, May, and September.

Delivery

Each module blends live interactive online classes, self-guided study, and in-person Bootcamps. Bootcamps are 2-day intensive sessions focused on teamwork and real-world problem-solving.

Assessment

Learners are assessed through a mixture of assignments and a final end point assessment that involves an independent research project.

Fees and funding

£18,000 fully funded by the Apprenticeship Levy.

Course Modules

Covers core concepts of business analysis and change management, frameworks for business analysis and how to enact business transformational change.  

Learners gain a foundation in business data and digital landscapes such as data modelling, analysis, visualisation and storytelling.  Data literacy is developed, and the effectiveness of data-driven business models is systematically examined. Learners will be taught how to develop interactive dashboards using Power BI or equivalent. 

This module covers the fundamentals of business process modelling within an organisation, introducing tools for developing models. It also discusses strategies for assessing and refining current business processes, along with methods and tools for improving efficiency and effectiveness 

Learners will gain insights into applying GenAI solutions to automate and streamline business operations, while also learning suitable prompt engineering and maximising GenAI capabilities securely. Additionally, they will understand the ethical and legal considerations involved in using GenAI for business transformation.
