I lead our Sheffield tax team, which includes a diverse group of specialists across VAT, employment taxes, equity reward, personal taxes, and my own focus area – corporation tax.
With nearly 20 years of experience in delivering tax compliance and advisory services to growing businesses, I'm recognised for offering high-quality, value-adding advice. My client base ranges from privately-owned companies and listed entities to smaller entrepreneurial ventures, which I support throughout their business lifecycle; from startup to eventual exit.
Prior to rejoining Grant Thornton, I gained valuable experience in-house, including three years as the head of the tax department for a FTSE 250 company, where I was responsible for developing and managing the group's internal tax processes.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and two young children. When I'm not running the kids around to all their activities, I enjoy playing golf and walking in the countryside.
