As a Partner in Grant Thornton’s Innovation Tax team, I work across our Northern offices to help businesses unlock the full value of R&D Tax incentives. With more than 12 years’ specialist experience, I support companies of all sizes in preparing robust, fully optimised R&D Tax Relief and Patent Box claims. My focus is on delivering clarity, confidence and commercial value, ensuring every claim is both technically robust and strategically aligned to a client’s growth ambitions.
In addition to advising dynamic SMEs and large corporates, I serve as the national consumer lead for Innovation Tax and sit on our consumer go to market committee. This role allows me to bring sector specific insight to clients innovating across the consumer landscape. I’m passionate about the role R&D incentives play in driving knowledge creation, accelerating industry progress and delivering meaningful benefits to the wider economy, sectors and communities.
Outside of work, you’ll most often find me exploring the North West or England with my wife and two children, walking, running (slowly) and discovering new places. I’m a firm believer that the best days are those fuelled by great food and drink, and I never miss the chance to combine family time with finding somewhere new to enjoy together.
