Frederik Vinten

As Chief Commercial Officer and a member of our Strategic Leadership Team, I lead Grant Thornton UK’s commercial strategy and play a central role in accelerating the firm’s growth. My focus is on strengthening client engagement, sharpening our go‑to‑market approach and ensuring our service lines are aligned behind the most significant opportunities in the market. 

I bring more than two decades of international leadership experience across consulting, financial services and large‑scale transformation. Before joining Grant Thornton, I served as EMEA Chief Operating Officer at FTI Consulting, overseeing the firm’s corporate operating model across 24 offices and working closely with regional leaders to connect strategy, operations and long‑term growth plans. 

Earlier in my career, I held several senior commercial and strategic roles, including Partner at Spencer Stuart, where I advised financial services and corporate clients on leadership, talent strategy and organisational performance. I also served as Executive Board member at Danske Bank, leading group‑wide business development and major transformation initiatives. Prior to this, I was Head of Strategy and M&A at Maersk Line, shaping long‑term commercial strategy and driving digital innovation. I began my career at McKinsey & Company and later advised multinational organisations as a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group, deepening my expertise in strategy execution and performance improvement. 

With a focus on clarity, commercial ambition and collaborative leadership, I am committed to strengthening our market position and helping to build a firm that is more connected, more competitive and ready for the future. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family – my wife, two daughters and son.
