I’m an economist with 20 year’s professional experience. I specialise in the energy sector, and have worked on a range of issues in the transition to a low carbon economy in the UK, Australia and across Europe. I help my clients by providing innovative solutions to complex problems, delivering high-profile projects, and communicating technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
My expertise is in the design, implementation and evaluation of energy policies and regulatory mechanisms such as network price controls (Ofgem’s RIIO framework) and frameworks to support investment in clean energy infrastructure (e.g. the cap-and-floor for electricity interconnectors).
Before joining Grant Thornton I held senior positions within consultancy, Ofgem and the Australian Energy Market Commission.
